I was going to do the whole “promote your tumblr here” tumblrplug thing to gain followers, then I realized..
Why? Why do I want to gain followers randomly? I remember starting this blog 2+ years ago and going “OMG PEOPLE ARE FOLLOWING ME” when I had 10 followers. Now, I have much more than 10 and I’m still not satisfied? What has gotten wrong with me? My blog doesn’t have a theme, and it never will. I think blogs should be personal and should show the blogger’s true identity, not have a million different blogs with different themes. (I can’t deny, I have an alternate blog for personal written posts because some people I know in real life follow me here, and it would be awkward if they knew too much). But I’ve always been the type to shut you up if you talk about tumblr in public. I guess it kind of got to me when people all around me went “omg, I was on tumblr yesterday and I got __ amount of followers” Follower count really isn’t important. It isn’t like you can see how many another person has anyways. I love my blog and I don’t think I will ever exploit you like that again. I can gain followers THE NATURAL WAY and it’ll be so much more worth it.
